Generic: Aceclofenac 100 mg
Indication: Relief of pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, back/musculoskeletal pain, dental pain, and menstrual pain.
How it works: NSAID that inhibits COX enzymes and reduces prostaglandins responsible for pain, swelling, and inflammation.
Usual dose: 100 mg twice daily, preferably with or after food, or as prescribed. Maximum generally 200 mg/day.
Common side effects: Indigestion, stomach pain, nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, and headache.
Important: Use cautiously if you have a history of stomach ulcer/bleeding, kidney or liver problems, heart disease, or NSAID allergy. Avoid taking it with other NSAIDs unless advised by a doctor.
