Seretide Diskus 50/250mcg contains Salmeterol 50mcg + Fluticasone Propionate 250mcg per inhalation.
It is a combination long-acting bronchodilator and inhaled corticosteroid used for regular control of asthma and COPD.
Salmeterol helps keep the airways open, while Fluticasone reduces inflammation and swelling in the lungs.
It is a maintenance/preventer inhaler and is not intended for immediate relief of a sudden asthma attack.
The Diskus is generally used regularly as prescribed, commonly one inhalation twice daily for this strength in appropriate patients.
Rinse your mouth after inhalation to help reduce the risk of oral thrush.
