Generic/Type: Amlodipine 5mg + Valsartan 160mg + Hydrochlorothiazide 25mg — combination antihypertensive.

Uses: Treats high blood pressure when multiple medicines are required to achieve adequate control.

How it works: Amlodipine relaxes blood vessels, valsartan blocks angiotensin II to prevent blood vessel narrowing, and hydrochlorothiazide removes excess salt and water through urine.

Precautions: Use only as prescribed. Monitor blood pressure, kidney function and electrolytes. May cause dizziness or dehydration. Avoid during pregnancy.
