  • How to use: Take only as prescribed and complete the course. Do not take it together with antacids, iron or calcium supplements; separate these from ciprofloxacin as directed.
  • Precautions: Use cautiously in kidney disease, diabetes, heart rhythm problems, myasthenia gravis, or a history of tendon problems. Seek medical advice for tendon pain/swelling or severe diarrhea.
  • Adverse effects: Nausea, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, headache, dizziness and sleep disturbance; rarely tendon injury, nerve problems or serious allergic reactions.
