Azomax is used to treat a wide variety of mild to severe bacterial infections including:
- Infections of ears, lungs, and other body parts
- Sexually transmitted diseases
- Certain diseases associated with bronchitis (respiratory tract infection) and pneumonia (lung infection)
- Urinary tract infections, e.g. cystitis (bladder infection)
- Typhoid fever
