Cefiget DS 200mg 30ml Syrup is composed of Cefixime as an active ingredient and belongs to the cephalosporin class of drugs. It works by destroying the cell wall structure of bacteria, and all the cell components spill out, thus killing the bacteria. It never works for viral infections.
