Clexane 80mg Injection contains Enoxaparin Sodium 80mg/0.8ml, a low-molecular-weight heparin (LMWH) and anticoagulant.
It is used to prevent and treat blood clots, including deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), and for prevention of clots after certain surgeries.
It may also be used in certain acute coronary syndrome conditions and to prevent clotting during haemodialysis.
The 80mg/0.8ml presentation is supplied as a pre-filled syringe for injection.
Common side effects include bruising, pain or irritation at the injection site, and bleeding.
Use strictly according to the prescribed dose. Do not self-adjust the dose, as excessive anticoagulation can cause serious bleeding.
