Eyemox D Eye Drops

• Generic/Type: Moxifloxacin 0.5% + Dexamethasone phosphate 0.1% – ophthalmic antibiotic and corticosteroid.

• Uses: Used for susceptible bacterial eye infections associated with inflammation and for certain post-operative eye inflammation/infection.

• How it works: Moxifloxacin inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, stopping bacterial growth. Dexamethasone reduces inflammation, redness, and swelling.

• Precautions: For ophthalmic use only and generally used under medical supervision. Avoid prolonged use because the steroid component may increase eye pressure and can mask or worsen certain infections. Do not touch the dropper tip to the eye.
