Generic/Type: Metoclopramide Hydrochloride 5mg/5ml – antiemetic and gastroprokinetic medicine.

• Uses: Used to relieve nausea and vomiting and to improve delayed stomach emptying, including gastroparesis and certain reflux-related symptoms.

• How it works: Blocks dopamine receptors and increases movement of the upper gastrointestinal tract, helping the stomach empty more quickly and reducing nausea.

• Precautions: Prescription medicine. Use only as directed and avoid prolonged use unless prescribed. Use cautiously in patients with Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, kidney problems, or a history of involuntary movement disorders.
