- Uses: Used to control blood glucose levels in diabetes mellitus. Insulin aspart is a rapid-acting insulin analogue that lowers blood glucose after administration.
- Pack Size: 5 pre-filled FlexPens × 3 mL; each pen contains 300 units of insulin aspart.
- Administration: Given by subcutaneous injection. The dose is individualized according to the patient's blood glucose, meals, activity and doctor's instructions.
- Common Side Effect: Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) is the most important risk; injection-site reactions and other effects may also occur.
- Storage: Unused pens should generally be stored refrigerated at 2–8°C and must not be frozen. Follow the product leaflet for storage after first use.
