Generic: Vonoprazan 20 mg
Indication: Acid reflux (GERD), erosive esophagitis, and peptic ulcers; also used with antibiotics for H. pylori eradication
How it works: Potently and persistently blocks stomach acid secretion by inhibiting the gastric H⁺/K⁺-ATPase
Dose: Usually 20 mg once daily, or as prescribed
Common side effects: Diarrhea, constipation, nausea, abdominal discomfort, and headache.
