Generic: Levofloxacin 250 mg
Indication: Antibiotic used for certain bacterial infections, such as urinary tract, respiratory, skin and other susceptible infections.
How it works: Inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, stopping bacterial growth.
Dose: Usually 250 mg once daily, but the dose and duration depend on the infection and kidney function; use only as prescribed.
Important: Avoid taking antacids or iron/calcium supplements at the same time. Seek medical advice if tendon pain/swelling, severe diarrhea, or unusual nerve symptoms occur.
